Our Founder
Silvia Calderon – Crum
Silvia Calderon Crum grew up in Bolivia, where her fascination with the Kantuta flower began as a young girl. Captivated by its vibrant beauty and cultural significance, she carried her love for the flower across continents when she moved to the United States.
A devoted mother, Silvia raised two boys while also caring for her own mother, embodying the values of unity and resilience that the Kantuta symbolizes. Inspired by her deep connection to Bolivia’s national flower, Silvia made her dream a reality by founding KNTUTA.com—a platform to share her passion and preserve the legacy of the Kantuta for future generations.
Through her work, Silvia invites others to celebrate the spirit of Bolivia and join her mission to protect and honor this extraordinary flower.
